Q.  Where is Champagne Classics based?

A.  We are based in North Norfolk.

Q.  How much will it cost?

A.  The cost is based on time and not distance, therefore a five hour booking will cost between £170 and £460 (dependent on the number of cars booked). This includes a basic hire charge of £90 for the Traveller, £90 for the Saloon and £100 for the convertible, the chauffeur, ribbons and insurance - see terms and conditions and our price band chart.

Q.  Do I have to pay a deposit?

A.  Yes a £25 deposit is required on booking one car, £40 for two cars and £55 for all three cars which will secure the booking.  It is a non refundable deposit.  If the booking is made 14 days prior to the engagement then a deposit is not required but the full balance must be paid - see terms and conditions

Q.  When do I have to pay the balance?

A.  The balance is required 14 days prior to the date of the engagement by cheque or paypal. - see terms and conditions

Q.  Do you offer any discounts i.e. for booking more than one car for the same date?

A. Yes, if you book two cars for the same occasion on the same date then a 10% discount will be applied and if all three cars are booked then a 15% will be applied (subject to terms and conditions).

Q.  How can I pay?

Q.  How many cars do you have?

A.  Presently we have three cars - a 1968 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller in snowberry white and a 1962 Morris Minor 1000 Tourer (convertible) also in snowberry white with a red leather interior and canopy, and a 1961 Old English white Morris Minor 1000 saloon with cherry red leather interior.

Q.  Are the cars just available to the bride and groom?

A.  No, the cars are ideal for any members of the wedding party.

Q.  Chauffeured or Self Drive?

A.  All our cars are Chauffeur driven.

Q.  Do the Chauffeurs wear uniforms?

A.  No, our Chauffeurs are always immaculately turned out in tailored suits with appropriate shirt and tie.

 

 

Q. Will I get my dress in the car?

A.  This is probably the most asked question by our brides to be and the answer is a resounding yes.  Both the saloon and the convertible have a split front passenger seat which rolls completing forward allowing our brides to simply step gracefully into the cars.  The traveller hasn't got the split seat however the generous size of the traveller allows for ease of movement whatever you or any of your wedding party decide to wear.

Q.  How many people can be carried in the cars?

A. The Traveller seats three in the back comfortably and one in the front.  The convertible seats two in the back and one in the front.  The saloon seats two in the back and one in the front.

Q.  Do the cars have good luggage space?

A.  Yes, all three cars have ample clean luggage space ideal for those extras you may wish to bring i.e. a bouquet, posies, hats, going away outfit etc.

Q.  What if we need another Morris Minor as well as the cars provided by Champagne Classics?

A.  As they say "we know a man who can"! Ask us when you make your enquiry.

Q.  Do I have to have the traditional white ribbon on the car?

A.  No, you can chose any colour ribbon especially if you have a particular colour scheme in mind.  The choice is yours!

Q.  Will there be time to have photographs taken?

A.  Photographic opportunities are extremely important at any wedding, therefore we are highly flexible and give maximum time prior to the wedding ceremony and after the ceremony for photographs to be taken.

 

 

Q.  What if we need to cancel?

A.  We appreciate that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances customers do need to cancel bookings.  As set out in our terms and conditions deposits are no refundable.  However, if the full balance has been paid then we will refund 50% of this this amount minus the deposit - see terms and conditions

Q.  What if we book the convertible and it rains?

A.  The convertible has a canopy which can be lowered should there be a shower of rain.  We also carry a very generously sized umbrella which our driver will use to escort passengers to the venue entrance.  If you have booked the convertible and the Traveller or Saloon is available we will with the permission of the customer use one of these other cars in the place of the convertible.  We don't recommend taking the convertible out on a booking if there is a torrential down pour.

 

 

Q.  Do you take bookings from all over the U.K?

A.  Yes, although we are based in Norfolk on the East of England we are happy to undertake any booking where ever it might be in the UK.

Q.  Do you just take wedding bookings?

A.  No, we are happy to spread the Morris Minor fun around what ever the occasion - prom's, birthday surprises, promotional events.  Please note that bookings that commence later than 6.30 pm will be subject to a 25% increase per hour.
