| A Heartbeat Moment For '60s Duo |
This blog is going to be quite a lengthy affair purely because it is not only a tale of two halves but also because the photos that accompany it were so difficult to choose from that I decided to add a few extras in! The day began with the pick of our Bride Jayne from her home in Attleborough where there was it seemed a cast of thousands, including bridesmaids, the phographer, make-up lady, various key family members oh and of course the Bride and me with Molly! Molly took Jayne and her Father through Attleborough to the lovely church of All Saints in Besthorpe. The photographs below were taken at the church. Molly looked gorgeous in her Chocolate Brown ribbons which matched the colour of the bridesmaids dresses. |

.....So after the lovely church at Besthorpe our couple Jayne and Martin were taken for a Champagne drive to their reception venue of Park Farm Country Hotel in Hethersett. At Park Farm Country Hotel there were many more photgraphic opportunites. Jayne and Martin had arranged for a classic 1962 bus to take some of their wedding party from the church to the reception so as you can see it was a bit of a Heartbeat moment when Molly and the bus met! |

| The "Inn" Place to Be |
Molly our 1962 Morris Minor Convertible found herself at a late wedding in Fressingfield a small village near Eye. Our couple Jane and Robert were married at 4.30pm St Peter & St Paul's church. Molly's part in the day was to take our Bride Jane from her home near Harleston to the church. After the wedding ceremony the couple took the walk from the church through the churchyard to The Fox & Goose Inn where Molly was waiting for them for photographs and a champagne toast. |

| Country Life is "the life" |
With fingers crossed for another sunny day Ruby and Vanessa set off for a lovely country wedding all set to take place in and around the villages of Swilland and Otley near Ipswich. Crossed fingers were not required though as it was the most glorious day weather wise and wedding wise. The pick up of the Bride Heather and her Father was at the family home in Swilland where both car and driver were received warmly. The short drive to the church in Otley was bliss, Ruby with her hood down, driving at no more than 20 mph, Heather and her Dad chatting away in the back is was the perfect start. As you will see from the photographs the church at Otley is stunning, very well looked after with grounds to match. After the wedding ceremony Heather and her new husband Paul both with Champagne glass in hand were driven again slowly back to the family home in Swilland ready for their wedding reception. |

| When The Old Meets The Really Old! |
Okay so our cars are pretty old I think you'll agree? In fact Sadie pictured below is nearly 50 years old not bad really. However, if you're going to talk about age Cley Windmill wins hands down or "sails" down! Cley Windmill dates from the early 18th century and when all is said and done is pretty magnificant old or not. Of course the reason for Sadie our 1961 Morris Minor Saloon being present at the mill was due to her part in the wedding of Joanna and Kieran. Sadie picked Joanna up our Bride from Wymondham for the journey to Cley Windmill where she was all set to marry Kieran. The mill has to be one of the most romantic intimate wedding venues in Norfolk and we love it. After the wedding ceremony and celebration wedding breakfast the couple were taken in Sadie to Titchwell Manor in the village of Titchwell for their honeymoon. |

| Mid Week Special |
Wednesday, mid week neither here nor there really, but I think it all depends if the day is marked by something happening significant or otherwise. Two things happened today which kick started my happy thoughts no I'm not turning into a Peter Panesque type person! First off I received a thank you card from Nicola and Neil who's wedding we provided the transport for in August of this year. I wrote a blog about it back then as it was such a super day and a splendid wedding with lovely people. Nicola and Neil wrote "We are writing to thank you for the great service you provided on our wedding day .................. We would have no hesitation in recommending your services to others." But that's quite enough of that! Read the complete uncut version in our testimonials. Also today I received some photographs from Adrian Neal at The Studio Without Walls of Nicola and Neil's wedding! Brilliant! You can see those very same photographs on our photo's page but below is a sneaky peek. I love the photo of Nicola and Neil cuddling up in Sadie and then the next photo is at the reception venue Sussex Barn in Burnham Market with all of their friends and family cameras at the ready. |

| A Sainted Day |
Today was hot, hot, hot! Yes another sunny day and another fabulous wedding. Sadie our '61 Morris Minor Saloon was the chosen car and picked up the wedding party including our Bride Paula in Tilney All Saints near Kings Lynn for the journies to Tilney All Saints church. Paula looked absolutely stunning in a beautiful white off the shoulder gown with a hooped skirt. After the ceremony and photographs with family and friends Paula and her new husband James were taken for a Champagne drive to their reception venue of The Ramada Hotel in Kings Lynn. Paula and James totally fell in love with Sadie and loved every minute of their time in her and having their photographs taken with her. |

| Broadening The Mind |
Question: Do you need to get away, take some time out, put the wedding planning on the back burner for a few short hours? Well have we found the perfect place for you. Rob and I went out for a little trundle around some of the Broads areas of Norfolk, first off we went to Barton Broad for a walk along the boardwalk which takes you through a small area of the marshland along the edge of Barton Broad which is a beautiful expanse of water and a popular place for sailing. The walk is so peaceful and that in itself is great for the soul especially if you need to unwind. We then decided to take a short drive along to Horning a small idillic village which takes full advantage of it's ideal position on the Norfolk Broads. This gorgeous little spot is simply a fabulous place to stop for a while maybe with a cappuccino on the village green as we did where we sat just watching the boats going by and really enjoying the fact that we didn't have to do anything in particular - great! Horning is a great place to eat, at lunch time we parked ourselves on the patio of The Swan Inn which was fab-u-lous, especially as we had the sunny weather, but the food was lovely and the menu had plenty to choose from. We were totally impressed with our day out and Horning is without doubt worth another visit some time soon. |

| Gone To The Beach |
So take a wild guess a shot in the dark as to what we like to do every now and again when we're not providing the transport at weddings? Well as the title to this blog suggests we like to spend time at the beach! As we live in one of the most fantastic counties in the UK and along one of the most wonderful coastlines it would seem a crying shame not to take full advantage of what nature has to offer. Wells next the Sea is possibly one of our favourite definately in our top 5 places to visit. As you can see from the pics below I was rather taken with the beach huts and the contrast of beach meets pine tree back drop with that fabulous blue sky with the fluffiest clouds going! This was a picture postcard kind of day with glorious sunshine lots of happy people including us taking a gentle stroll enjoying the nicer simpler things in life. We of course concluded our visit with fish and chips but hey it would be rude not to indulge don't you think! |

| Louise & Graeme are King and Queen of the Castle |
Cambridge is the place, Louise & Graeme are the Bride and Groom and The Shirehall on Castle Hill is the venue. This was such a thoroughly enjoyable day with two of the nicest people I have met this year who fell head over heels in love with Sadie our 1961 Morris Minor 1000 Saloon. I arrived at Hotel Du Vin Cambridge to await the departure of the Bride Louise who was to be married to Graeme at 2pm at The Shire Hall on Castle Hill in Cambridge. After the wedding ceremony and photographs in the very lusciously green grounds of The Shire Hall the Bride and Groom were taken to Granchester Meadows for their wedding reception where they had set up a marquee for the celebrations ahead. |

| Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby (well you know the song!) |
Today's wedding was a one venue wedding featuring Ruby our 1961 Morris Minor Convertible who is pictured below dressed in Burgundy ribbons and hand tied bows. We picked up our Bride Lauren in Norwich who's chosen car was Ruby, Lauren had also chosen to have Molly our 1962 Convertible for her two bridesmaids. The wedding party were then taken to The Old Rectory Hotel in Crostwick which is between Norwich and Coltishall. Lauren and her fiancee Shane were married at 2pm after which there were lots of photograph opportunities. The couple then enjoyed a Champagne drive in Ruby before returning to The Old Rectory Hotel for their wedding reception. |
