Whizzing Off To Wisbech
In total contrast to the last time I blogged the weather today was absolutely amazing! Glorious is quite an understatement as the sun shone all day long and at times I'm sure it must have been at least 25 degrees. Dolly our 1970 Volkswagen Beetle was the chosen car for the wedding of Becka and Tim in Leverington near Wisbech. Dolly was booked as a lovely surprise for Tim by Becka and I am delighted to report that not only was Dolly a hit with the couple but with the whole wedding party. After the wedding ceremony the couple were taken to The Best Western Knights Hill Hotel for their wedding reception.

Rain Rain Go Away!
What an incredibly wet day! Unfortunately there aren't many pictures from today in fact as you can see there is only the one because the rain was relentless. However putting the fact that we had a pretty water logged day the two weddings that we provided the transport for were spectacular. Sadie our 1961 Morris Minor Saloon was at the wedding of Lucy and Brendan who's ceremony took place at The Dairy Barns in Hickling. After the ceremony and photographs at Horsey Mill the couple were taken for a champagne drive to their wedding breakfast venue of The Olive Branch in Tunstead. Ruby our 1961 Morris Minor Convertible was the chosen car for Laura and Stephen's Cambridgeshire wedding. Laura was picked up in Cambridge accompanied by her Dad and her bridesmaid for the 20 minute journey to Croxton Church on the road to St Neot's. After the ceremony there was a very quick photo call under the lich gate of the church for the newly married couple who were full of the joys regardless of the pounding rain. The couple were then taken to the beautiful and rather grand venue of Longstowe Hall for the wedding breakfast. If you look closely you can see from the picture the reflection of a red and white striped umbrella as Ruby sits in front of Longstowe Hall.

Rachel and Lewis' Gorgeous May Wedding At Hales Hall
Well the title says it all really but to elaborate... Rob and I had the great pleasure of being part of the wedding day of Rachel and Lewis. The Bride Rachel and the wedding party were picked up in Harleston, their chosen cars Molly and Ruby (bridal car). They were driven the 30 minute journey to Hales Hall in Loddon. Hales Hall a stunning venue was the perfect setting for this gorgeous May wedding and as you can see from the photographs Molly and Ruby were right at home in front of the magnificent Tudor barn.
