A Dream of an Idea - Sounds Like a Plan!
To plan or not to plan that really is the question? Of course the answer is plan but what I really mean is do you enlist the help of a wedding planner or events organiser or do you DIY? If you're anything like me you're an organisationaholic making lists at the drop of a hat, lists of lists with sub lists and fully catagorised - ring a bell with any of you! Planning my own wedding or should I say battle campaign if I'd had the help of a professional coordinator we would probably of ended up dueling with lists at dawn. However, having said all that I have had first hand experience of what a top notch events coordinator can achieve. The person I speak of is Bernadette Chapman of Dream Occasions who not only posses drive and ambition but is innovative and adds a fresh well thought out flourish to all of the events she and her company are involved in. If you are merely contemplating the idea of taking your event or wedding forward in this direction you should give Bernadette a little look www.dream-occasions.co.uk. Check out the blog it's fab! Bernadette booked Molly as the car of choice for the wedding of Aniela and Daniel in May of this year what a superb day.

One Bus, Two Weeks, and Three Events Later...
So it's Sunday the sun is shining and all's pretty good with the world. Here at Champagne Classics we've been enjoying some time off - yes that's right you read it right time off! We decided to have a couple of weeks off before the excitement and sheer full on few months ahead. Well I say time off but what I really mean is throwing ourselves head long into some totally unrelated projects (unrelated to Champagne Classics that is) such as a school fete, a scout fete and a school sports day. You see although not mentioned before now, we are 100% family orientated and it means a lot to us to get involved in the events and activities that are important to our three lovely boys. Our three boys or as we like to call them "the managing directors" are well and truly on the proverbial pedestal. The three events listed are not the only ones but hey what with choir trips and theatre performances this blog section could go several lines too many! Oh and the bus well I saw this in my town and just thought what a fun thing and I know that couples often have them as there extra wedding transport - cool in a very fun, red and in your face kind of way!

Sun, Smiles and Ruby
What a fabulous day in more ways than one on the occasion of Amanda and Andy's wedding. Ruby and I travelled to a super Cambridgeshire village called Parsons Drove which is a one road in one road out type of village near Wisbech. The couple were married at St John The Baptist Church and then went on to their reception at Willingham House in the village of Willingham funnily enough. Prior to the wedding itself Ruby and I parked up at one of the pubs in Parsons Drove called The Swan Inn where most of the wedding party were enjoying the glorious sunshine, a pre wedding drink and a chat. I met some super smiley people obviously all there to give Amanda and Andy all the support and love they deserved. It was a real pleasure to be part of Amanda and Andy's special day, a lovely genuine couple who made me and Ruby very welcome as did all of their friends and family alike. Anna Wisken today's photographer was great and so pleasant to work with www.annawisken.co.uk.

Dora Gets Her Gold Watch
After almost 12 years of adding that something special to many a special occasion Dora our lovely old lady has retired. She gave her last wonderful performance at the wedding of Eleanor and Andrew on April 25th of this year where she truly did look splendid and certainly finished her fabulous career at the top. As a wee tribute to Dora our fabulous 1968 Traveller we'd like to share with you some of our favourite photographs of her at some of the many weddings that she's been a part of. Thanks Dora you've been a real star xx
