Thanks Go Along Way...
You never know what the post is going to bring right? Mostly advertising, the odd bill and maybe if your lucky something nice that makes you smile. Today was my day to receive some "smiley" mail, a lovely thank you card from a smashing couple Amy & Alex who's wedding I had the very great pleasure of being a part of on May 23rd this year. I took Sadie our '61 Saloon to a tiny village just outside Chelmsford to pick up the Bride Amy and her Dad for the journey to a gorgeous church in the fabulous setting of Sandon which has a village green, a pub and a church! It was a glorious day with lots of sunshine and an abundance of happy folk. Read the full sentiments of Amy & Alex's card in our testimonials here is a little exert - "thank you for letting us have your lovely Morris Minor on our wedding day. It was so special to have it, especially for my Dad and I as it was the first car he bought me aged 17." We really appreciate any feedback from our customers but it's particularly heartwarming to receive a thank you. Just as we like to work using the personal touch we understand how much effort has gone into sending us a thank you.

Ely Has It All
It has to be said that Ely is one of my all time favourite places to visit so it was a real pleasure to go Ely to be a part of Arlette and Jonathon's wedding. Molly was the booked car for the day and looked gorgeous in her Champagne (pale pink) ribbons and hand tied bows. Arlette looked truly beautiful in a stunning white gown and was the epitome of an all smiles Bride - very lovely. The chosen ceremony venue was Saint Mary's Church in the heart of Ely which is one of my all time favourite churches and the day was blessed with wall to wall sunshine so what more could anyone ask for. After a 2pm ceremony the exceptionally happy couple had photographs taken in the grounds of the church by a wonderfully cheery photographer Terry Pearce. The couple then departed in Molly with the hood down to the sound of their family & friends cheering and clapping! The couple then enjoyed a 30 minute Champagne drive en route to their wedding reception at Menzies Cambridge Hotel & Golf Club.

The Perfect Day
What a great day. The day began with our Bride Stephanie being picked up at St Giles House Hotel a fabulous venue in the heart of Norwich. Stephanie enjoyed a 20 minute drive in Sadie our 1961 Morris Minor Saloon with her Father through Norwich via Tombland before reaching the desired ceremony destination of Drayton Old Lodge. After the ceremony Stephanie and her new husband Mark were whisked away in Sadie for a leisurely Champagne drive before their reception at Drayton Old Lodge. Sadie looked particularly splendid with her Moss Green ribbon and bows chosen by Stephanie to tie in with the themed colour of the day. We hope that you enjoy these few shots of Sadie taken while waiting for the couple to emerge from their ceremony as Mr & Mrs.

A Rare Sighting
It's not often that I get caught on film! However here I am in conference with Groom Andy just before he set off for the church. This shot was captured by Anna Wiskin who took the photos for Andy and his Bride Amanda in a super village Parson Drove just outside Wisbech. As you can see Andy was enjoying a pint not I hasten to add for courage no not at all but it was a blisteringly hot day. In fact all of the wedding party except the Bride of course had popped to the local pub The Swan Inn. You can see some more photographs of this day on our photos page.

Pretty In Pink
I just really love this photo of Molly our 1962 Morris Minor Convertible outside the gorgeous church of All Saints in Gimingham. She is dressed in Ruby ribbons and bows which is more of a pink tone than red hence being "pretty in pink"!

A Taste of Things To Come?
Pinch punch first day of the month. Yes it's here July and it only seems five minutes since it was the New Year, the months seem to be flying by. We've been tirelessly working night and day 24/7 as they say to get our lovely Dolly back out there and turning heads. As a little taster I took a couple of close up snaps of Dolly before her big reveal!
