A glorious day for a super couple who's wedding took place in their home village of Shipdham. In fact Deborah and David live in a cottage only a stones throw from the church. So understandably today Molly was not hired to take the Bride to the church! No today her role was to take the Bride and Groom once married at Shipdham parish church to their reception venue at Hunters Hall in Swanton Morley. Their was quite a breeze today so the couple decided that they would like to travel for the most part in Molly with the hood up. However on their approach to Hunters Hall down the long driveway Molly's hood was put down so that Deborah and David could enjoy not only the sunshine but an exciting entrance to the Hall greeted by their nearest and dearest who were already there.

What an absolutely brilliant day! The day began with today's Bride Lucy who looked absolutely stunning in her white fitted gown being picked up in Sadie our 1961 Morris Minor Saloon from Rockland St Mary (just outside Norwich) for the journey to Blickling Hall accompanied by her Dad. At Blickling Hall Lucy and her family who were the nicest group of people had photographs at the front of the Hall with wedding photographer Simon Buck who knows our cars very well. The wedding party then made their way up to the Temple where Lucy and Julian were to be married. After the wedding ceremony, champagne & canapes and a final set of photographs in the grounds of Blickling Lucy & Julian (Jules) were taken in Sadie (helped along with a glass of champagne each) to The Saracens Head in Wolterton for their wedding reception. Everything about today was fabulous - the Bride & Groom who were so lovely, the family, Blickling Hall, the Saracens Head. But today was appealing in even more ways in that this was all about the Bride and Groom, this was an intimate family event that oozed special, there wasn't a huge entourage, there wasn't the cast of 1000's! Weatherwise the day had been very calm with a light cloud cover however as the couple approached Wolterton there was the most glorious early evening sunshine which was the perfect start to a wonderful evening ahead. Lucy & Jules were blown away by Sadie as were the whole wedding party, and I know that Lucy had been especially excited to see Sadie so today was a definite 10 out of 10 wedding.

Well it's been a long time coming with much excitement in the process but now I am so delighted to be able to show off the new and much improved Dolly with her stunningly eye-catching & head-turning red interior. Dolly has also been treated to the most fabulous white head lining thanks to Paul at Moore's Coach Trimmers & Upholsterers. Dolly just looks absolutely fabulous. The pictures say a whole lot more than I can WOW!
