Oh my goodness Rob Ward of Rob Ward Photography has very kindly just sent me some sensational photos of a wedding Dolly and I had the absolute pleasure of being a part of on April 9th that of Sylvia & Jim at Holkham Hall. Rob is a real fun and I'm sure he won't mind me saying a funny guy on so many levels, and top to work with! Rob's style is a mixture of "catching the moment" as it happens or as posh photographers say "reportage" and having formal posed shots. I have picked out a few to add here but I have made a feature if you follow the links from our photos page you will see them. You can also see more if you go to our Face Book page.

A Grand Day Out Dolly Style
What an absolutely fabulous day! Dolly and I spent a wonderful afternoon in the company of Sylvia & Jim who were married in the Marble Hall at Holkham Hall. Dolly and I picked the Bride Sylvia up along with her two bridesmaids at Morston Hall. The three stunning girls were full of the joys and most definitely all set to have a good day. Sylvia and the bridesmaids joined the rest of the wedding party in the Marble Hall for the wedding ceremony. After the wedding ceremony the wedding party then "partied" with champagne, canapes and music. It was such a lovely day with a great atmosphere. The drinks reception rounded off at about 6pm at which time the couple Sylvia & Jim were taken in Dolly to have their wedding breakfast with friends and family at Morston Hall.

A Tale of Two Weddings
Wet, wet, wet and no I'm not talking about the popular 80's band neither but the state of the weather on this April day. It all started off quite fine and then come 10.30 am it simply crashed down - not good! However regardless of the very unwanted wet stuff we were all set to provide the transport for two weddings one in Norwich and one in Cambridge. Dolly our 1970 Volkswagen Beetle was the chosen wedding car for Vicky and Dan who were married at Brundall Church. After the ceremony the couple were then taken for a champagne drive to their wedding reception at Dragon Hall in King Street Norwich. Sadie our 1961 Morris Minor Saloon escaped the Norfolk rain going right under it into a dry Cambridge for the wedding of Jemma and Stuart. Jemma was picked up from the family home in Cambridge for the journey to Chesterton Church a good half an hour drive away. After the ceremony the couple were also treated to a champagne drive to their wedding reception at Jesus College in Cambridge.
